Yen fled Vietnam in the late 1970s, and after years in a refugee camp, arrived in the United States at age 10.
As a young adult, she worked multiple jobs while earning her undergraduate degree in Business Economics at Golden Gate University and then her law degree from U.C. Berkeley School of Law. After law school, Yen held attorney and senior business roles at Coopers & Lybrand, Morrison & Foerster, Baker & McKenzie, Bank of America, and The Gap. She joined Fisher & Kong in 2020 and became sole proprietor of FisherKong Law a year later.
In nearly three decades of legal practice, an enduring love of economics remained and enhanced her work in tax planning, commercial transactions, and trust and estates planning. Inspired by clients who appreciate full-scope advice, Yen launched Northern California Fiduciary Advisors, LLC to focus on financial planning advice and investment management.
